Former MEGADETH guitarist Chris Poland and ex-TESTAMENT/SAVATAGE axeman Alex Skolnick will be making guest appearances on the forthcoming LAMB OF GOD album, "Ashes of the Wake". Commented Poland: "This is MEGADETH for the New Millennium." Added Skolnick: "LAMB OF GOD is a breath of fresh air that stands head and shoulders above all the cookie cutter bands out there." Lamb of God, came together in the current form in the fall of 1999. The band has been around in various forms and under various names, most notably Burn The Priest, since '94, however, and the brothers, Chris and Willie, have been playing music together since '88. Lamb of God play a caustic style of extreme metal that can be compared to few others.
